Euro ‘12 is on the telly
Everyone HAS to watch it,
Even if you don’t like footie
Each TV channel has got it!

Ugly moves made by ugly men
Umpire awards penalty kick
Umpteen fouls were made, so now then
Under the goalpost kick it quick!

Good it’s nearly over, I think
Going to cook myself some food.
Glad I’ve got some red wine to drink
Get’s me in a much better mood.

Only wish I could control these
Over-televised football blues!
Over now, so I’m on my knees.
Oh no, it’s also on the news!

Trolaan Poem
4 quatrains (a stanza of 4 lines, each having a similar amount of syllables) Each line of the stanza begins with the same letter and the rhyme scheme is abab. Starting with the 2^nd stanza, the 2^nd  letter of the 1^st  line of the 1st stanza starts each line on the 2^nd stanza. On the 3^rd stanza the 2^nd letter on the 2^nd stanza begins each line of 3^rd stanza. On 4^th stanza the second letter on the 1^st line of the 3^rd line begins each line of 4^th stanza
